The Mentoring Math Minds is a dynamic year-long research mentoring program tailored for undergraduate students, with an emphasis on building community, encouraging professional growth, and supporting students from a variety of backgrounds.

Participants will engage in an extensive range of research activities. The leaders of the program will invite speakers to give a talk on top of the research workshops. These workshops will be divided into two or three half-day modules on weekends.
This program will create an active research community and increase the research activities involving students.
Throughout the program various mentoring activities will be organized for the participants; such as weekly meeting with advisors, peer-mentoring, and social hours with peers and mentors.
The professional development workshop series will include LaTeX training, a software carpentry training workshop, and a workshop on literature in which students will become familiar with systematic methods for reading scientific journals and understanding the literature review concept. Each workshop will be divided into two or three half-day modules on weekends.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in community outreach activities, for instance the Outreach to middle school girls through Sonia Kovalevsky Days organized at Washington University in Saint Louis.
